Scientists at the University of Iowa, funded by NASA and the government, have announced that magnetic portals exist near the earth’s atmosphere, that can lead directly to the sun.
I would love to explain this to you but it would be easier for you to read it yourself. The bit that interests me other than the portals is the comparison to the ancient text that say "the sun is a sort of portal for the ‘gods to pass back and forth from other dimensions’
