UFO photos and video have always interested me ever since I was a little boy. Although I have seen a few strange things in sky over the years, I never had to chance to photograph them.
Now I am a photographer the pictures interest me even more, especially with today technology and smart phones. Still pictures are from a long distance away and generally out of focus.
Also my favour quote from some witnesses is the "there was nothing there when I took the picture, but when I got home and saw it on the computer there it was!"
I once saw a picture in The Sun newspaper with that quote, I took one look at the picture and could tell what it was. The guy had been taking picture by the sea and it was a bit of a gloomy day, said he saw nothing. When he got home boom, classic UFO shape in one of his pictures. What was it? Simple it was a Seagull passing front of the lens on an angle, the camera shutter speed wasn't fast enough the freeze it so it was slightly blurred. I was surprised they even printed it.
Which leads me to my drive home, crawling along the M5 Friday summer traffic, I look up at the cloud formations. They looked quite interesting in large almost squares in a line. As we had come to a halt, I quickly took a couple of shot with my iPhone. And as I flick back through low a behold there is a UFO in one them! But I didn't see anything fly by. Check out he sequence of pictures below.
Was it a UFO? No it wasn't it was just a splotch of dirt on windscreen. Could I have sent it off somewhere? Probably, but I would have known it wasn't real.
Just for once I would like to see clear, sharp pictures. Well, maybe one day.
The universe is too big for it just to be us!
What do you think?
